With a vast experience of over 25 years as a prosecutor (during 1995 – 2021), Alexandra is acknowledged by the legal and business community as one of the most respected professionals of the law in Romania.

Throughout her prodigious career, Alexandra held various executive and management positions, from intern prosecutor to District 5 Prosecutor’s Office to Chief Prosecutor of the Bucharest Prosecutor’s Office. She also had different roles in the technical apparatus of the Superior Council of Magistracy and the Ministry of Justice.

In addition to the application of the criminal legislation as a prosecutor, Alexandra has also been a trainer with the National Institute of Magistracy (INS) since 2014, where she has perfected her training and organizational skills.

As Secretary General of the Ministry of Justice and subsequently as an Adviser to the Prosecutor General, Alexandra played a significant role in preparing the implementation of the new criminal procedure codes. Thus, she had the opportunity to acquire in-depth know-how in relation to the issues raised by practitioners in connection with the codes’ application and was constantly preoccupied by finding the best possible answers to the practical matters.

As a trainer with INS, Alexandra has been a constant lecturer at various seminars and events on topics related to the application of the Criminal Procedure Code.

A graduate of the University of Bucharest Law School, Alexandra is the co-author of the Code of Criminal Procedure annotated with national and European jurisprudence and The Code of Criminal Procedure. Notes on the articles.
