Positions:

  • Senior Associate;
  • Junior Associate.

General requirements:

  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English is compulsory. Other languages, at least to conversational level, are an asset. International qualifications in English such as the CAE, CPE, TOEFL etc are also welcome;
  • Analytical skills, common sense, drive, resilience, professionalism, good judgment, as well as quick and creative thinking are desirable;
  • Fluent and effective communication skills for explaining complex information in a clear and convincing way;
  • Ability to make judgments based on analysis of real-time information;
  • Tolerance and being a team-player to facilitate personal and professional relationships;
  • Clear, organized and concise legal writing skills;
  • Ability to play by the rules, to follow established procedures and to perform consistently, even in stressful situations;
  • Proficient computer related skills, including MS Office, legal professional software et alia.

Special requirements for Senior Associate:

  • 3 or more years post-qualification experience in a corporate law firm;
  • In-depth knowledge of the legal and/or technical rules applicable in general corporate M&A practice;
  • A good knowledge of one or several of the following: energy & natural resources, public procurement, concessions, PPP, criminal law;
  • Delegation skills in order to coordinate and supervise work;
  • Ability to anticipate the critical points in an engagement, setting objectives, milestones and control points.
  • Leadership skills and setting a good example for others.

Special requirements for junior associate:

  • A graduate of the qualification exam for the Bar Association.
  • 1-2 years work experience in a corporate law firm is a plus;
  • Good knowledge of the legal and technical rules applicable in general corporate practice, company law, and related practice areas.

Notably, there is no minimum number of billable hours a lawyer must meet each month. The billable hours are monitored by partners to assure full involvement in our practice and to attempt to spread workloads fairly.

Internship

A legal internship is ideal for talented undergraduates to gain real work experience and to pursue the practice of law while still studying. Our legal internships offer insight into working with both business law and criminal law. As a legal intern, your work may include legal research, assisting our partners and lawyers, and conducting general case management.
